Biographical work is an essential component of professional case counselling in tertiary prevention. It promotes a trusting, stable working relationship between the practitioner and the radicalised person they work with. Biographical methods are an important basis for supporting deradicalisation processes: Understanding one’s own biography is crucial for clients in order to initiate self-reflection and enable change processes.

In this e-learning, practitioners will achieve basic knowledge on conducting biographical work methods and how to include them in their intervention programmes.
